The Humanities and Digital Technologies Platform bridges the humanities and technology, leading collaborative research and innovative projects that shape the future of scholarship, culture and society.
The Humanities and Digital Technologies Platform is a research community formed by experts in the humanities in response to HKUST's Strategic Plan 2031. It promotes the development of the humanities in the age of AI and, through interdisciplinary research projects and top-tier humanities education, advances sustainable social development so that science and technology genuinely benefit humanity.
The platform has become part of Hong Kong's digital humanities infrastructure. Working with more than 100 institutions worldwide, it supports Asia's leading digital humanities teaching and genuinely connects industry, education and society — offering the university a wide range of activities and development support, and giving students interdisciplinary international learning experiences.
